Music

As a vocalist Christopher has performed at venues including dc space, the legendary Blues Alley, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, DC’s Adams Morgan Day festival, the Fort Dupont Park summer concert series, and Mr Henry’s where Roberta Flack gained fame.

Chris is presently accompanied by Norris Berry on piano, Rudy Spruill on bass, and Roderick Johnson on drums performing original material, contemporary jazz covers and inventive mash-ups .   He is also currently a member of the acapella group Reverb.

As a member of the jazz/pop quartet “The Four of Us,” he toured the South of France and served as a cultural ambassador representing Washington, DC at the San Remo Jazz Festival in San Remo, Italy.  He also performed with instrumentalist and composer Wayson R. Jones as a member of the neo-soul duo “Nightskin”, creating original, lyrically rich, neo-soul before the genre took hold in the mainstream.
